Veronica Pacheco was born on December 7, 1979 in Lima, Peru. When she was 2 years old, she was diagnosed as being severely mentally challenged. ‘Verito’, as shes likes to be called, has achieved to develop in diverse human fields, in which art outstands.

Verito’s art work is characterized by her characters, mainly harlequins, who live in her fantastic world, full of color and joy, full of movement and freedom, surrounded by balloons, musical notes and hearts.

Verito’s paintings are classified in 3 styles: Primary Fantastic, Recycled Fantastic and Intermediate Fantastic. The Primary Fantastic Style is characterized by characters that flow from her own imagination. The characters of her Recycled Fantastic Style are born from the interpretation of pre-existing models of clowns, scarecrows, puppets, dancers, artists, etc. The intermediate Fantastic Style is a fusion between both previous styles.

The trace of her drawings characterizes her artistic development, in oil and acrylic, as well as in watercolor and ink. Verito uses diverse formats, beyond the traditional ones.

Cirque du Soleil - QUIDAM

Verito visited the director, producers and artists of the QUIDAM show, of the Cirque du Soleil. Verito had a wonderful evening sharing her joy and charisma with all of them. She was blowing balloons up for them, making drawings and sketches with all the gifts that she was given by them at the company office. Verito also gave them her book and signed it dedicating it the whole circus, as well as a box with the character that Cynthia, Rob and Laurie chose.

Four angels with very joyful and funny spirits: Cynthia Clemente (Press and Publicity Coordinator), Rob McKenzie (Director), Veronica Pacheco (Artist) y Laura Carriero (Management). Thanks a lot!
